#Back to School

So school has officially started for me as well. Back to reading case books, highlighting, post-its and late night study sessions.
What used to be my favorite part of back to school was the back to school shopping. I'd go with my mother to get new outfits, new shoes and school supplies. That was probably the best part, there is something about getting new binders and notebooks that gives me a rush. I loved picking out my new pencils and highlighters, I just knew that they would be used for great things that year!
Now back to school shopping still happens but I don't (nor can afford that many new school outfits) but I still GET the same rush when I buy new notebooks and highlighters.
I also used to get a new backpack every year, I mean the style and trends changed so my pink backpack wouldn't be that fashionable come the next school year. As I got older though backpacks went out of style and book bags became my new school love. I probably get a new book bag every year now that I am older but that's because my books are heavy and my poor bags can only take so much of a beating before they give up on me. So if you are in the market for a new book bag for the upcoming school year here are a few law school approved book bags. By law school approved I mean they can carry a laptop, cases book, supplemental, and notebook comfortably.

Here are some of my favorites, help mE choose please!

Michael Kors Medium Jet Set Multifunction Tote
And it comes in multiple colors, black, blue, white, cream and so much more!

I love coach bags and love this travel tote which easily turns into a very luxurious and sturdy book bag!

Kate Spade has some sassy bags, I love the canvas material and all the clever
sayings. Plus this bag zips closed!! Also probably my favorite laptop case ever!

And lastly one of my favorites is Longschamp, the nylon helps keep it clean and the zipper keeps things from falling out, plus its spacious!

As you can tell I like a bit more expensive book bags then the average student, but I think when you spent as much money on a laptop and books like I have that they deserve to be carried in style and in quality! Until next time, have a great day!

#Wednesday Wishlist

I have been a bit MIA for the past week but thats becuase I am trying to enjoy the last moments of my summer break before school officially starts Monday....
This summer has been fabulous and filled with many unexpected surprises and adventures. I expect the adventures to continue therefore I've been making a wish list of outfits (mostly dresses) that I would wear while experiencing each adventure.

So without further adieu here are what I am dreaming of while summer break's end is quickly approaching!

I am in love with this Coach bag!
Coach Legacy Mini Tanner Crossbody In Leather

These dresses have occupied my summer day dreams! This dress is sold out but nevertheless definitely worth swooning over!

OR this Tory Burch stunner!

And this classy black and white piece that is a perfect office attention grabber by Malene Birger!

Of course I am always on the look out for a wonderful lace get-a-way dress such as this 60"s Lace Panel dress from TopShop

And I've saved the best for last, SHOES, the apple of my eye the bane of my existence, the reason I am studying so hard, so that one day I can afford all the shoes my heart desires. Such as these Valentino's , they are very popular but still not affordable for a poor student, but it never hurts to dream!

Now I know that almost nothing on this list is affordable but like the title says, it's a wish list, a girl can always dream!

#making a statement

Costume jewelry are no longer a thing of the past! When walking into J.Crew yesterday while shopping with my beautiful mother, I fell in love with the most gorgeous statement necklace. From afar it looks like a large piece of costume jewelry but in actuality it a most have centerpiece for any fall outfit.

Statement necklaces can be tricky, you have to make sure that your outfit is simple enough that adding a large piece of jewelry won't overwhelm your outfit. Also you have to pick the right size for you, everyone's necks and heads are a different size and picking the right style and size statement necklace can essentially be a fashion disaster not to mention that it looks like you will fall over if it's to large.

Now I did fall for the J.Crew collection but there are many other slightly more affordable collections, but be aware that the cheaper the necklace the lower the quality so you don't want to start losing jewels or get that ugly green line.

Here are some some of my favorites from J.Crew:

Tricolor Floral
Symmetrical Stone (one of my personal favorites)

Crystal Fan: This will be mine!
Don't forget the arm candy!

So I suggest you save up and invest in one of J.Crews statement pieces, a definite must for the fall season!

#Extra Extra

I know that almost every blog is writing about this today but I am extremely excited that H&M finally has online shopping in the United States!!
This is particularly exciting because the H&M near me doesn't always have the designer collaboration line, and I miss out on some amazing items! Now I don't have to drive an hour to a bigger and more complete H&M to get my clothes!!!

What are your favorite H&M items?
